Dementia Friends is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way we think, talk and act about the disease. Learn more about the greater Dementia Friends Massachusetts movement.
As a Dementia Friends Champion, Elder-Well® co-founder Kara Harvey will be hosting our first ever Dementia Friends Information Session.
When: Saturday, May 14th from 2:30-3:30pm
Where: Elder-Well® Adult Day — 12 Washington St, Natick, MA 01760
During this one-hour session, you will learn five key messages about dementia and a bit about what it’s like to live with dementia. As a Dementia Friend, you can then turn your new understanding of dementia into a practical action that can help someone with dementia living in your community. From telling friends about the program to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts!
Gather a few friends or family members who you think could benefit and join us to become a Dementia Friend.
